I’m Giorgio Mulas, and I was born an explorer — quite literally.

My mother, a biologist, and my father, a professor with a passion for archaeology, were already taking me to discover new places before I even came into the world.
And since then, I’ve never stopped.

Raised between the sea and the mountains of Sardinia, I turned that childhood curiosity into a profession: guiding people to discover the Sardinia that doesn’t appear on postcards.

After earning my degree in Biology (2001) with a specialization in ecology, I realized that knowing a place is not enough — you must also learn to tell its story, respect it, and share it.

That’s why I became a Certified Environmental Hiking Guide (Regional Register of Sardinia No. 470), an Assistant Speleology Instructor, and a Level II AED operator.

I worked in the French Alps at Les Deux Alpes, deepened my understanding of sustainable tourism with a Master’s in Rome and Milan, and in 2013 made the final choice — to settle in Ogliastra, one of the wildest and most authentic regions in Europe.

I live these places every day.
I know their hidden paths, the rhythm of nature, the stories whispered by every rock.

As a founding member and board member of the Club My Ogliastra, I work to promote a form of tourism that respects and enhances this paradise.

I am also a member of LAGAP (membership no. 632), and my work was recognized by the Region of Sardinia, which awarded funding for a sustainable tourism start-up (2019 call).
